About Me

Epstein Vuyo Njokweni comes with a broad-spectrum of expertise in policy analysis, research, governance, strategic planning and reporting. He has undergraduate qualifications in Political Studies and a Post Graduate degree in Development Studies. He garnered extensive experience in the policy and the regulatory space. This experience spans the public, private sector, the non-profit sector and as a consultant. He has over 10 years’ experience in the public sector, where he occupied various positions in the research and policy analysis capacity. This also included managing the Governance and Administration function where he was responsible for managing and supervising researchers at the Gauteng Provincial Legislature. He has experience in Overseeing and managing various projects. .

In the private sector, he was responsible for regulatory analysis and writing policy positions in anticipation of proposed regulations and policies. The most notable one was a series of articles he wrote for publications such as the Business Day on issues relating to price controls in the run-up to the introduction of the National Credit Act at the Pan African Research and Investment Services. His academic interests lie mainly in parliamentary oversight, post-legislative analysis and institution building.
